Booster boxes are especially good value when: You have a full pod You want prize packs Everyone is splitting the cost Your group enjoys opening sealed product You want a social event rather than just individual pack opening Buying singles is better when you need specific cards for Commander, Standard, Modern, or another constructed deck

Use protective sleeves, store them away from direct sunlight, and handle them minimally to preserve their condition
