Usually players will have to choose another card with the same character to use Shift, but in the case of Chip n Dale, Recovery Rangers, it can be used to Shift a Chip or a Dale card, which makes it quite a bit more versatile than a normal Floodborn card

Suddenly, all that discard, land destruction, and card drawing they've used has backfired, as they find themselves at a low life due to Necropotence, with two (or less) lands in play, no creatures, and no cards in hand
This 4/4 cant be blocked by creatures with two or less power, has Deathtouch, Vigilance, and Haste, and can even damage Planeswalkers when dealing damage to life totals
