Satisfying Antique Velvet Pin Cushion, As Found primitive carved tool with our canine subject capturedI look at a lot of pin cushions such perfect examples of the human compulsion to make even the smallest and simplest of utilitarian objects special and while this is not a fancy one, there is something about its roundness, and the gray tan velvet dyed (now very) pale blue at the very center of the top and bottom, and all of these pins stuck in it that make it, to my eye, quite a satisfying little thing.
